One of the beautiful things about science is that our views of the world constantly change as we gather more data, test and test and test our theories, and ultimately come to new understandings based on rigorous scientific processes. So while it may feel a little weird to realize that some scientific “truths” you grew up with may no longer be true, I think we can all agree it’s pretty important that we continue to challenge our long-held assumptions and push ourselves to an ever-clearer understanding of our universe.
