In the meantime, here are a couple examples of our past work:
BioPop partnered with SeaWorld San Diego to produce Living Glow, a fully-interactive nighttime exhibit featuring bioluminescence. The exhibit ran June 17 – September 4, 2017
“SeaWorld guests can now get their hands – and feet! – wet as they learn about dinoflagellates and the essential role they play within our vast marine ecosystems. Science enthusiasts looking for an exciting opportunity to interact with nature are sure to be inspired and amazed by this nighttime exhibit.”
To celebrate the holiday season, we partnered with Birch Aquarium at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography for Holiday Night Lights, an interactive bioluminescent event.
“During the event, guests will learn about fluorescence, bioluminescence, and phosphorescence through hands-on activities and encounters with live creatures that glow. They will walk across a glowing dinoflagellate plankton carpet, draw on a glowing sea of living light, and meet Scripps scientists Dimitri Deheyn and Michael Latz, who will discuss their research on these glowing creatures.”
